It has been reported that Tierney will not play at Fir Park in the Scottish Premiership game due to a calf injury.
It has also been claimed that the left-back will sit out Scotland’s upcoming friendly international matches against Costa Rica and Hungary due to the same injury.
The Scottish Sun, though, has reported that the 20-year-old, who is hugely popular among the Celtic fans, will be fit in time for Glasgow giants' Scottish Premiership match against Ross County after the international break.
Chance for Calvin Miller?
Tierney has played regularly at left-back for Celtic for a while now, but his injury could open the door for Calvin Miller.
Miller is also 20 years of age and operates as a left-back, and manager Brendan Rodgers could well decide to give the youngster a rate start.
The former Scotland Under-17 international told The Daily Record last month that he could have joined St Johnstone on loan in the January transfer window.
