Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Barry Bannan has hinted he could make a return to action at Elland Road on Saturday.

Bannan has not appeared for Wednesday's first team since 9 December and was robbed of a run out for the Under-23s last Monday by heavy rain.

Nevertheless, Owls boss Jos Luhukay - under whom Bannan has yet to feature - confirmed earlier this week that the Scotland international could make his squad to face Leeds United this afternoon.

And according to the player himself an appearance might well be on the cards.

"Hotel for the game tomorrow I'm back", Bannan posted on Instagram, followed by three winking emojis.

So unless he is simply up to something naughty in his hotel room, you can expect to see Bannan in that Sheffield Wednesday 18 at Leeds.
