Ki, 29, joined Swansea back in the summer of 2012 having impressed in Scotland with Celtic, and he has been a regular in South Wales ever since, bar a 2013 loan move to Sunderland.
The South Korean international has now racked up more than 150 appearances for Swansea, scoring 12 goals, ut his time at the Liberty Stadium appears to be coming to an end.
It's claimed that Ki is set to move on at the end of the season when his Swansea contract expires, with a shock deal to join Italian giants AC Milan understood to be close.
West Ham finally ruled out?
A move to the San Siro represents a huge move for Ki at this stage in his career, even if Milan aren't quite the force they were in years gone by, and it would also rule out a move to West Ham.
Sky Sports recently reported that, when Swansea came calling to re-sign Andre Ayew from West Ham in January, the Hammers asked about taking Ki as part of the deal, but Swansea wouldn't allow him to go.
Some had felt that West Ham would return for Ki this summer given that they can sign him for free, and he ironically scored against the Hammers in a 4-1 win for Swansea earlier this month.
Now though, with Milan reportedly closing in on a deal, West Ham appear to be ruled out of the Ki race – and will have to look elsewhere for midfield reinforcements this summer.
