Report: Newcastle United would have to pay £15m for Kenedy

Newcastle United have currently got the Chelsea winger on loan until the end of the season.

According to a report in the Daily Mirror, Newcastle United will have to pay £15 million to sign Kenedy on a permanent transfer end the end of the season.

Newcastle have signed Kenedy on loan from Chelsea, and he has made a wonderful impression at St. James’ Park.

The Brazilian has only played six times for Newcastle, but he has already become a key player.

Kenedy scored twice at the weekend, as Newcastle managed to get past Southampton, and win 2-0.

And the Brazilian winger looks to rapidly becoming one of the Magpies’ most integral attacking players.

Kenedy has already hinted that a move to Newcastle would appeal, and Chelsea are said to value the 22-year-old at around £15 million.

Newcastle have shown a reluctance to spend big on players in recent transfer windows, but Kenedy may be in their price-range at that valuation.

And if Newcastle do stay in the Premier League, it would not be a surprise to see Kenedy relocate to Tyneside on a permanent basis.
