Edouard, who joined Celtic on a season-long loan deal from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2017, has predicted that Brown will continue to lead the Hoops for a long time in the future.
“He’s the leader of the team and he encourages us in every training session and in every single match,” Edouard told Celtic’s official website about Brown.
"He will continue to lead the team for a long time," added Edouard about Brown.
Going strong as ever
Brown has been on the books of Celtic since the summer of 2007 when he joined from Hibernian for a transfer fee reported by The Guardian to be worth £4.4 million.
The former Scotland international is going strong as ever, and remains an important player in the Celtic team despite being 32 years of age.
The former Hibernian star was a force in the middle of the park during the Old Firm between Rangers and Celtic at Ibrox on Sunday afternoon.
According to The Daily Mail, Celtic will have to pay PSG a transfer fee of £7 million in order to secure the services of Edouard on a permanent contract.
