Leeds United fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Josh Windass for Rangers against Celtic at Ibrox.
Windass featured for Rangers in the Old Firm derby against Celtic at home on Sunday afternoon.
The 24-year-old former Accrington Stanley midfielder played well for the Gers and opened the scoring in the third minute, although the Hoops won the Scottish Premiership match 3-2.
Windass has been in good form for Rangers in recent weeks and has emerged as a key player Graeme Murty’s side.
The midfielder has scored 12 goals and provided eight assists in 28 Scottish Premiership appearances for Rangers so far this season, according to Transfermarkt.com.
Leeds fans were impressed with the performance of Windass against Celtic and want the club to sign the midfielder from Rangers in the summer of 2018.
Windass would remind me of Dallas but In the middle— Aaron (@AaronLUFC__) March 11, 2018
We paid 3m for ROOFE, so why we only bid 500k for Windass is beyond me.— Samuel Clark (@ItsSamuelClark) March 11, 2018
Wonder whether the club still think Josh Windass isn’t worth what Rangers wanted? #lufc— Thomas Bradley (@TBradley23) March 11, 2018
