Joleon Lescott has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to Wolverhampton Wanderers’ win against Leeds United at Elland Road.

Wolves got the better of Leeds 3-0 away from home in the Championship on Wednesday evening.

Romain Saiss, Willy Boly and Benik Afobe were the goalscorers for the Wanderers at Elland Road.

Former Wolves defender Lescott was following the match, and the English defender was pleased to see Nuno’s side win against Leeds.

The win against Leeds at Elland Road means that Wolves are back on track for the top spot in the Championship this season.

The Wanderers will return to action on Saturday afternoon when they take on Aston Villa away from home at Villa Park in the Championship.

Villa are in good form at the moment and are also aiming to win automatic promotion to the Premier League at the end of the season.

Lescott started his professional club football career at Wolves and spent the 2015-16 season at Villa.
