Everton fans on social networking site Twitter have urged manager Sam Allardyce to include Phil Jagielka in the starting lineup against Brighton and Hove Albion this weekend.
The Toffees will return to action on Saturday afternoon when they take on Brighton at Goodison Park in the Premier League.
The Merseyside outfit will head into the match on the back of a 2-1 defeat to Burnley away from home at Turf Moor in the league.
Everton manager Allardyce has told The Liverpool Echo that Jagielka is back to full fitness and is available for the match.
The 35-year-old central defender is one of the most experienced players in the current Everton squad, and has been on the books of the Toffees since the summer of 2007 when he joined from Sheffield United for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £4 million.
Everton fans have welcomed the news regarding Jagielka and want the Englishman to start against Brighton at Goodison Park in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
I would play Coleman,Jags,Mori,Baines for rest of season. They know each others games and they are all fresh.3 leaders in that defence to hopefully be steady for rest of the team to win games— tony (@tonyf_efc) March 8, 2018

Mori and Jagielka— BeerGuzzler (@BeerGuzzler1973) March 8, 2018
There is always one glaring mistake by Mori in each game. That is still 12 less per game than Williams..... Mori gets the nod for me this weekend to partner Jags— Gary (@LardAlmighty) March 8, 2018
Jags— Huw Preece (@huwpreece) March 8, 2018
I would play a back 3 with Funes Mori with Jags and Keane. Baines and Coleman as wing backs— ToffeeApple (@AshleyBAppleby) March 8, 2018
Jagielka is still the best defender at the club— . (@BaganMichael) March 8, 2018
Probably Jagielka.— Sam Whyte (@SamWhyte) March 8, 2018
