Thill, 18, has been emerging in the Metz ranks since his 2012 move from Niederkorn, and has become one of the hottest young players in Europe despite making just six first-team appearances.
The attacking midfielder has been targeted by some of Europe's heavyweights in recent times, and reports in his native Luxembourg now claim that a summer move could be on the cards.
Luxemburger Wort report that Thill has decided he wants a summer move, though it's unclear whether he will be sold or loaned out.
West Ham versus Juventus?
Thill is bound to attract interest, and the same report claims that talks were held with Juventus just a couple of months ago over a move to Turin.
That should be of interest to West Ham United, given that The Express claim that David Moyes is interested in bringing Thill to the London Stadium.
Thill may find a clearer path to first-team football with West Ham, even if the likes of Sead Haksabanovic and Toni Martinez have found it difficult to break through under Slaven Bilic and now Moyes.
However, the prospect of joining one of the world's biggest clubs in Juventus could be too big to turn down for Thill, meaning the Hammers may need to move quickly if they want to land the teenager.
