Fulham supporters have taken to social networking site Twitter in order to rave about Southampton’s Matt Targett following another impressive performance while on loan at Craven Cottage.

The talented left-back joined Fulham on loan in January, and his inclusion in the starting XI has coincided with a fabulous run of form which has seen the West London club propel themselves up the Championship table.

Fulham found themselves as low as 17th in the table at one point, yet seven victories in their last nine games now sees them sitting in the playoffs with hopes of catching Cardiff City in second spot.

Taking to social media site Twitter, many Fulham supporters believe they would be currently in the top two had Targett been with them from the beginning of the season and current form suggests they have a point.
