Derby County will be hoping to climb back into the automatic promotion spots tonight as they take on Leeds United at Pride Park.

The Rams lost 2-0 at Sheffield Wednesday last week in a rare defeat, and manager Gary Rowett will be looking for an improvement tonight.

Scott Carson – formerly of Leeds – takes on the Whites this evening as he starts in goal, with Chris Baird, Richard Keogh, Curtis Davies and Marcus Olsson across the back four.

Tom Huddlestone and Joe Ledley form an impressive midfield duo, with Tom Lawrence, Matej Vydra and Andreas Weimann called upon to support David Nugent in the Derby attack.

New signing Kasey Palmer is only on the bench, alongside Kelle Roos, Ikechi Anya, Andre Wisdom, ex-Leeds man Bradley Johnson, Alex Pearce and Cameron Jerome.

Meanwhile, Leeds came from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 with Bristol City on Sunday evening, and will hope to pick up their first win under new manager Paul Heckingbottom tonight.

Despite his errors against Bristol City, Felix Wiedwald keeps his place in goal, and is protected by a back four of Gaetano Berardi, Pontus Jansson, the returning Liam Cooper and Laurens De Bock.

Ronaldo Vieira partners Adam Forshaw in midfield, with Stuart Dallas and Pablo Hernandez out wide, whilst Kemar Roofe – a goalscoring substitute on Sunday – will support Pierre-Michel Lasogga in attack.

Samu Saiz returns to the bench after his lengthy suspension, alongside Andy Lonergan, Matthew Pennington, Kalvin Phillips, Ezgjan Alioski, Hadi Sacko and Caleb Ekuban.
