The West Ham striker is still probably regretting his welcome video.
When West Ham United signed Jordan Hugill on transfer deadline day it was a deal that did not universally please fans at the club.
He has been in fine form in the Championship for Preston North End, but the Hammers’ faithful were perhaps hoping for something a little more eye-catching than Hugill.
But the striker, who cost West Ham a fee reported by the BBC to be in the region of £10 million, immediately became something of a fan favourite for his hilarious greeting video on Twitter when he finalised the move.
West Ham posted this video on deadline day…
It immediately made Hugill something of a laughing stock, about his excitement to walk out among the bubbles.
Of course West Ham, famously come out to the tune of ‘Forever Blowin’ Bubbles’ and a bubble machine that has gone into overdrive.
But it was more the delivery from Hugill, that had West Ham fans so amused.

Today West Ham invited fans to get in touch with their new striker on Twitter, with a question and answer session.
Once again, that went down well.
Many fans were very keen to hear about Hugill’s start to life at West Ham, but others - well they just couldn’t stop asking about the bubbles.
