Liverpool fans were left fuming earlier this month after Tottenham escaped Anfield with a 2-2 draw after two late penalties.
One of these was won by Harry Kane, who was accused of diving by Reds defender Virgil van Dijk, Sky Sports reported.
Kane defended himself but it was clear to those watching that he had gone down after feeling the slightest of contact and played for it.
Manager Mauricio Pochettino had not helped matters after the game by admitting he was happy for his players to gain an advantage, later backtracking on these comments after they cause a furore.
Against Juventus last night in the Champions League, Kane appeared to go down easily inside the box, appealing for a first half penalty with his team trailing after a very slight collision inside the penalty area.
On this occasion the referee was not swayed and waved away the striker's call for a spot-kick, although did not book the striker.
Liverpool fans on social media were quick to get on Kane's case, feeling they had been vindicated in their belief he dived and that Van Dijk was correct.
There was also anger that Kane was 'persisting' with diving, and they argued that if the FA had acted after Anfield and not ignored it, then he would have got the message.
