New Leeds signing has impressed since leaving Middlesbrough.

Leeds United have been on a terrible run of form in 2018 and it has not been an easy transition for new signing Adam Forshaw.

The former Everton trainee is yet to taste victory for his new side but he is enjoying playing regularly after a stop start seaso for Middlesbrough.

Forshaw's performances stand up well for Leeds compared to his efforts for Middlesbrough this season.

Forshaw has won five tackles in three games for Leeds compared to six in 11 games for Boro.

He has a better pass completion rate and has won the ball back for his side at a far more prolific rate per game.

Forshaw's limited touches per game for Middlesbrough is in part due to some appearances as a substitute, but his tackling alone is reason for encouragement as he gets started out as a Leeds player.

Leeds spent £4.5 million on his services in January, making him their biggest signing in a decade.

He has not been able to single handedly turn around their poor form but if new manager Paul Heckingbottom can turn their fortunes around, then Forshaw is likely to play a crucial part.
