Lord Sugar mocks Piers Morgan after his jibe at Tottenham Hotspur backfires

Tottenham Hotspur had a poor start in their Champions League clash with Juventus, but Mauricio Pochettino's side have the mental resilience to bounce back from such challenges.

Spurs went 2-0 down in Turin after a Gonzalo Higuain and appeared to be on the ropes.

Arsenal supporter Piers Morgan could not resist the chance to mock the Lilywhites - despite the Gunners not even qualifying for the competition, and losing to Spurs just days earlier.

Tottenham rallied and pulled a goal back before half-time through Harry Kane, before Christian Eriksen equalised in the second half.

Former Spurs chairman Lord Sugar responded to Piers Morgan after the game, mocking Morgan for getting over excited.

Spurs scored two crucial away goals and have set themselves up perfectly for the second leg.

Win at Wembley, and they are through to the quarter-finals.
