Arsenal fans wish they had Douglas Costa after Tottenham performance

The Brazilian looked his electric best at times in the Champions League fixture.

Tottenham Hotspur produced a stunning comeback in the Champions League last night, coming from two goals down to pick up a 2-2 draw with Juventus.

The result, coupled with two away goals, gives Spurs every chance of advancing into the next stage of the competition - good news for English football fans.

That is, apart from Arsenal fans. Gunners supporters would certainly rather see their bitter rivals falter in the Champions League this season.

But fans of Arsenal were also watching the game wondering if one of Juventus’ players would fit in at The Emirates.

The player in question is Juve’s Brazilian winger Douglas Costa. He put in a good performance against Spurs, winning the second penalty after beasting Davinson Sanchez for speed - no mean feat.

He is already a player well remembered by Arsenal fans after he tore apart Hector Bellerin in a Champions League tie between the two teams and Gunners fans are clearly big fans of the player.

The speedster is currently on loan at Juve from Bayern and that deal is expected to become permanent in the summer.

But after the game on Twitter many an Arsenal fan was hoping to one day see Costa in Arsenal red...
