West Bromwich Albion have now not won in four Premier League games and have lost their last three following the 3-0 defeat to Chelsea.
It leaves the Baggies bottom of the table with 20 points, seven points from safety and five points behind Stoke City in 19th position.
Any hope that the club and fans had that sacking Tony Pulis as manager and appointing Alan Pardew would see a spike in their results have dissipated.
At the start of the season West Brom had amassed ten points from 12 league games before Pulis was axed. Under Pardew they have taken the same number but in 15 matches.
It is starting to feel that the 56-year-old is taking the team back to the Championship and rapidly and supporters are beginning to turn on the boss.
Here is what they had to say about Pardew after this latest loss at Stamford Bridge.
Pardew’s only achievement was getting Rodriguez scoring & then he dropped him & killed his confidence. Dropped Field. Persists with Rondon, who anyone who knows anything about the game can see isn’t good enough. The list goes on. Disaster. Get rid now, build for next season. #wba— Daniel Hewitt (@DanielHewittITV) February 12, 2018
Goodbye Pardew. A terrible appointment, an utter failure who has crowned off the season in style.— Liam Martin (@LiamWBAFC) February 12, 2018
Iv got a Geordie friend home and away season ticket. He told me before Pardew came in he’ll drop popular players/fans favourites because he has the biggest ego at any club he’s at.— WBA Rainbow Stand☁️ (@TheRainbowStand) February 12, 2018
So far- Field not had a sniff, in form Jrod dropped.
Think my pal was right
Pardew, Pulis. Two sides of the same counterfeit coin.— London Baggies (@LondonBaggies) February 12, 2018
One all out defence, the other all out attack. Neither competent at what they preach. #wba
Pardew out ..... 1 win in the league since he arrived .....— Martin Tonks (@Suttonbaggies) February 12, 2018
1 win in 13 games is ridiculous by anyone’s standards. Anyone still blaming Pulis for this needs to have a word with themselves, he had to go but Pardew was never the answer. Not in a million years! Any decent due diligence would have got us out this mess #wba— Alex Fellows (@AlexFellows4690) February 12, 2018
#wba gutless, witless and utterly hopeless. We simply won’t win another game this season. Time to kick that prat Pardew out now and get someone in to prepare for the chumps league. Trouble is that would need a bold decision from our illustrious chairman #notinmylife— Paul Gainham MBAEC (@PaulGainham) February 12, 2018
