Tottenham take on Juventus this evening.
Tottenham Hotspur attacker Christian Eriksen is hoping to play a prominent role against Juventus tonight in their Champions League clash.
But it is not the first time he has taken on the Italian champions.
Eriksen's first clash against Juventus came back in 2010 when he was still at Ajax.
This came in a Europa League match, and Juventus edged the tie 2-1 on aggregate.
But Eriksen was a real threat, with Danish outlet TV2 reporting; "Eriksen played a great game and was a perpetual source of turmoil for the Juventus defense."
He was just 18 at the time and shining in an inferior side to Juventus.
Now he is a world acclaimed star and playing for a team who genuinely feel that they are equals to the Serie A giants.
Eriksen has already shown his capability of stepping up in big games this season, delivering spectacularly against Real Madrid, and at international level with a hat-trick for Denmark in their World Cup qualifying play-off.
With all the attention rightly on Harry Kane, it would be no surprise to see Eriksen step up on the big stage once again.
