Cenk Tosun has been axed from Everton's starting line-up by Sam Allardyce.

The pressure is beginning to pile on Everton manager Sam Allardyce after just one win in eight Premier League matches ahead of Saturday's clash against Crystal Palace - and fans have urged with the Toffees boss to start Cenk Tosun.

Everton play host to Crystal Palace at Goodison Park on Saturday afternoon in a match they will feel they can earn all three points, despite a poor run of form that was summed up by Arsenal's 5-1 thrashing last time out.

Allardyce lured Tosun, 26, to Merseyside in January after an excellent first half to 2017-18 with the Turkish champions, where he scored 14 goals in just 24 league and cup outings.

However, the Turkey international failed to find the back of the net in his first two matches for Everton and was left on the bench for the 2-1 win over Leicester City before appearing for just 12 minutes against Arsenal.

Clocking up just 143 minutes for the Toffees, Everton fans are desperate for Allardyce to give Tosun a start against Palace on Saturday as he looks to adapt his game to the style of Premier League football.

One fan even stated you can't "play Niasse ahead of him."
