Liverpool have cooled interest in France international Thomas Lemar who was widely regarded to be their top summer target.

Monaco want a premium transfer fee for the winger, having rejected a £90 million offer from Arsenal on deadline day last year.

The Ligue 1 side made clear in January that they would only consider offers at the end of the season, with Yahoo claiming Lemar was open to a switch to Liverpool.

However The Liverpool Echo report the Reds have now shelved their interest in the talented attacker.
