The east Londoners managed to avoid defeat throughout the entire months, beating Huddersfield 4-1 and West Bromwich Albion 2-1 while drawing against Tottenham Hotspur, Crystal Palace and Bournemouth.
However, it comes amid what is likely to be considered a disappointing month for the Hammers after they failed to sign a central midfielder in January and were knocked out of the FA Cup by League One side Wigan Athletic.
The Boss is up for Manager of the Month after we went through January unbeaten in the league. Don't forget to vote for him! https://t.co/3qL2ZhPv8h— West Ham United (@WestHamUtd) February 7, 2018
But the club's Premier League form was certainly decent enough to see Moyes nominated, and he joins Mauricio Pochettino, Jose Mourinho, Eddie Howe, Carlos Carvalhal, Pep Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp in the running.
West Ham fans are shocked, though, that the Premier League has noticed Moyes with the nominates, with many stating that the Hammers have not had as good a month as the award suggests.
One fan even described the club as a "running joke".
Give it a rest. The club is a running joke. #BoardOut— ⚒ RussellM P ⚒ (@russelthehammer) February 7, 2018
But fans don't want him here— Bradley (@bradwr1) February 7, 2018
Well done, in spite of the two bob, Spiv, owners. Not signing a midfielder is looking like a great move from the cheapskates, now Obiang is out for a stretch, and our midfield was walked through by the titans of Brighton, we look bang in trouble.— Matt (@MrAunderBooch) February 7, 2018
Is this a joke?— Irn Bru Fan (@BenWHUnited) February 7, 2018
He didn't have a good January at all which wasn't helped by continued ineptness from the owner.— munichhammer (@munichhammer) February 7, 2018
Na you must be joking— Jay (@jay25952994_jay) February 7, 2018
