Aston Villa fans continue to debate whether or not Gabby Agbonlahor should play against their bitter rivals Birmingham City.

Aston Villa fans have been voicing their opinion on Twitter regarding the possibility of Gabriel Agbonlahor featuring against bitter rivals Birmingham City.

The Villa veteran has been living off his reputation as being a ‘big game player’ for quite some time now, with his winner against the Blues back in April 2017 being used as a major reason why he should be given another chance at the weekend.

Unfortunately, there are quite a few supporters who disagree, referencing Villa's other options as a solid reason why the veteran should be left on the side-lines.

Of course, there is always the possibility of him coming off the bench and netting an important goal as we have seen on many occasions in the past but, as time has gone on, his ability to properly impact a game has faded quite dramatically.

Villa’s fine form of late has seen them springboard into the automatic promotion race and, although Cardiff can leapfrog them with a victory in their game in hand, the Midlands side are still within touching distance of Derby County who currently occupy second place.

But back to the point at hand, we have put together some of the best tweets from Villa fans regarding the Agbonlahor situation, as seen below:

My view on the Agbonlahor debate: In my opinion, he starts on the bench with Grabban. In the end you have to try and win the game, and against Birmingham that's Gabby's speciality. It's his last derby, let him go do his stuff #avfc pic.twitter.com/Ot4t62mgXE
