The Portugal international joined West Ham United on loan during last month’s transfer window.

Hammers ace Michail Antonio sat down for an exclusive interview with the club’s official website, and raved about the quality of new signing Joao Mario, labelling his technical ability as ‘unbelievable’.
West Ham brought the Portugal international into the club from Inter Milan on loan for the remainder of the campaign, and he is expected to bring a certain level of quality and class to the Hammers’ play in the middle of the park.

The east London outfit currently sit in 12th position in the Premier League table, just three points clear of the drop zone, so they will need the 25-year-old to hit the ground running, if they are to avoid a relegation battle this season.
Antonio, who has just returned to the first-team setup from injury, offered high words of praise for the new Hammers recruit, singling out Mario’s technical ability and awareness as what has impressed him most about the Portuguese, as quoted by WHUFC.com:

“I’m very impressed with Mario. He’s a very technical player with nice flair and his awareness is unbelievable.”
Next up for West Ham is a home game against Watford in the Premier League on Saturday, and they will need the 25-year-old to be at his very best, if they are to emerge victorious from the contest.
