West Ham United manager David Moyes has told TEAMtalk that he wanted to sign a third player in the January transfer window.

Moyes told TEAMtalk: “I’m a little bit frustrated by the transfer window – we needed a third player but didn’t get that at the end. So I’m OK with bits of it, disappointed with other bits.”

As reported by Football365 and Football.London, West Ham co-chairman David Sullivan has revealed that the club made a bid of £25 million for Allen on January transfer deadline day.

The Potters turned it down, and one can understand why. After all, just like the Hammers, the Potters are also struggling for survival in the Premier League at the moment.

The 27-year-old Wales international midfielder is a good player who knows the Premier League inside out, and he would have been a good signing for West Ham.
