Newcastle United fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Eliaquim Mangala for Everton against Arsenal.
Mangala, who joined Everton on loan from Manchester City City on January transfer deadline day, featured in the Premier League game against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium in North London on Saturday evening.
It was the 26-year-old central defender’s debut for the Toffees, and it was one for the France international to forget.
Sam Allardyce’s side slumped to a 5-1 defeat, with Mangala looking slow and sluggish, and simply failing to cope with the Arsenal attack.
Newcastle fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Mangala for Everton against Arsenal - they are happy that the Magpies did not sign him.
The Daily Mail reported last week that Rafael Benitez’s side were interested in signing the Frenchman on loan from City in the January transfer window.

Closest thing to Boumsong you'll ever see.
So glad we gave him a wide berth.#NUFC

Can’t say I’m upset at not getting Mangala at #nufc, he looks like Titus Bramble with Boumsongs boots on. Got to left feet and he’s right footed.— Stephen (@dustyrerds) February 3, 2018
So @NUFC missed out on Sturridge -lasted 62 minutes and mangala who conceded 4 goals in his first 37 minutes. Oh well— Garry Laidler (@LaidlerGarry) February 3, 2018
