Manchester City fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Eliaquim Mangala for Everton against Arsenal.
Mangala, who joined Everton on loan from City on January transfer deadline day, featured in the Premier League game against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium in North London on Saturday evening.
It was the 26-year-old central defender’s debut for the Toffees, and it did not go well, as Sam Allardyce’s side lost 5-1.
The performance of the France international was far from impressive, and City fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the display produced by the former FC Porto star.

Nice bloke, but Mangala is an unbelievably bad footballer. Feel sorry for Everton.— . (@Hburger_mcfc) 3 February 2018
Shame he can’t play against us.
Don’t think there’ll be a city fan anywhere surprised by Everton being 4 down at half time on mangala’s debut #ARSEVE— chris mclaughlin (@ChrisMc_MCFC) 3 February 2018
So glad we got rid of Mangala he is absolutely awful— He’s top of the league! (@mcfc18908) 3 February 2018

I think that MCFC loaning Mangala to Everton is revenge for letting us have Lescott ... #ARSEVE— Clint Walker (@ClintHWalker) 3 February 2018
Everton 3-0 down after 19 minutes. The Mangala effect. My Everton mate at work will never forgive me.— DaKeB (@Dakeb_MCFC) 3 February 2018
Mangala has been on the books of City since the summer of 2014 when he joined from Portuguese giants Porto for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £32 million.
The Frenchman has struggled to make a huge impact at the Etihad Stadium and spent the 2016-17 season on loan at Spanish club Valencia.
