Tottenham Hotspur have made a brilliant start to their make-or-break month of fixtures and will welcome the return of both players.

Tottenham Hotspur have been handed a significant boost as both Serge Aurier and Harry Winks return to full training as confirmed by the official club Twitter account.
Aurier was out after suffering a calf injury while Winks has been side-lined due to an ankle knock. With February being dubbed Tottenham’s make-or-break month, Mauricio Pochettino will welcome the return of both players, as they look to build on their brilliant mid-week result against Manchester United.
Both Winks and Aurier will be raring to go, each with their eyes on helping their side to a top-four place and a strong run in the Champions League, while also hopeful of playing themselves into contention for a place in their respective nation’s World Cup squads for Russia 2018.
Tottenham are currently sit fifth in the Premier League after their emphatic 2-0 win over Manchester United on Wednesday night. Spurs could not have asked for a better start to their February fixtures, and are still due to play Liverpool, Arsenal and Juventus with a trip to Selhurst Park and a visit from Newport County also on the horizon.

Two points behind Chelsea, a victory over Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday would see Pochettino’s men leapfrog the Reds into the top four, which would signal a massive statement of intent ahead of the season run-in.
With such a tough run of fixtures all in such close succession, it really is make-or-break for Tottenham this month, and the return to fitness of Aurier and Winks will only help the club’s cause.
On top of this, the club’s capture of Lucas Moura will add much welcomed pace to the flanks, with the team often lacking an out-and-out winger.
More creative-minded players such as Christian Eriksen and Dele Alli are often deployed in the positions behind the main striker and, despite their brilliance, they do not share the blistering pace of a player such as Lucas.
