Middlesbrough fans appear to have very little faith that Ashley Fletcher will be a success for Sunderland.
Sunderland signed Fletcher on loan from Boro on deadline day, with Chris Coleman’s side badly needing additions.
Sunderland are sat in 23rd place in the Championship table, with relegation fears rising.
But Boro fans do not appear to believe that Fletcher has the ability to save Sunderland.

Second touch isn't even a tackle because its bounced out of play. Although he's nippy can't beat a man. Positional sense isn't great. To be fair to the lad he's only young and never got a decent run of games. The price tag certainly never helped either.— Stephen Richards (@sterichards9) January 31, 2018
He’s absolutely awful— michaelowston (@michaelowston) January 31, 2018
Please tell me it has built in they have to buy him at the end of the season— Gavin (@Gavin1512) January 31, 2018
Fletcher has had a difficult time at the Riverside Stadium, since signing from West Ham United in the summer.
The youngster has scored just two goals in 19 appearances for Boro across all competitions.
Sunderland will require Fletcher to score more frequently than that, if they are to stay up.
Sunderland need to replace the goals of Lewis Grabban, whose loan at the Stadium of Light was terminated ahead of schedule.
Fletcher could make his Sunderland debut tomorrow, when they take on Ipswich Town.
