Wolves had a busy transfer deadline day bringing back former striker Benik Afobe on loan.

They also managed to sign Coventry City talent Ben Stevenson - who has been loaned out to Colchester for the remainder of the season.

Stevenson's move caught the attention of his former Coventry pal James Maddison, now at Norwich.

He congratulated the 20-year-old on Twitter after he clinched his big move.

Maddison's description of Wolves as 'great club' may well catch the interest of fans at Molineux.

The Birmingham Mail reported Maddison was being monitored by Wolves this January with a view to a potential switch.

Premier League teams were also interested and Norwich indicated they would want £20 million for him, the Evening Standard reported.

Wolves may well resume their interest in the summer, and Maddison getting to play alongside pal Stevenson could help sway him.
