Mario featured for West Ham in the Premier League game against Palace at the London Stadium.
The 25-year-old midfielder started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, as the London derby ended in a 1-1 draw.
It was the Portugal international’s first game at the London Stadium for the Hammers, with the midfielder having joined David Moyes’s side on loan from Italian giants Inter Milan in the January transfer window.
Mario, who cost Inter £35 million in transfer fees when they signed him from Sporting Lisbon in the summer of 2016 according to BBC Sport, played well and gave a good account of himself against Palace.
The Portugal international midfielder was impressed with the support from the West Ham fans and have sent a message to the London Stadium faithful on Twitter.
