According to the Daily Mirror [live blog entry 13:49] Reading goalkeeper Jonathan Bond is a target for West Bromwich Albion and Derby County.

The report adds, however, that it's a summer move the pair are planning, with Bond on loan at Peterborough United until then.

The 24-year-old, who has played 33 times for the League One side this season, is out of contract at the end of the campaign and would be available for free if a new deal cannot be agreed with Reading before then.

HITC Sport reported last month that Bond is expected to review his options in the summer, with Peterborough's promotion push his primary focus.

Moves to either West Brom are Derby are sure to appeal, however, especially if the Rams are to join the Baggies in next season's Premier League.

West Brom could lose back-up 'keeper Boaz Myhill at the end of his contract this year, while Derby's Kelle Roos is also due to become a free agent in June.

Bond, who has been capped by England and Wales at youth level, began his career at Watford but switched to Reading two-and-a-half-years ago.

Would Bond be a good signing for West Brom / Derby?
