HITC Sport understands Stoke defender set for League One loan.
Stoke are willing to let Tymon go out on loan before Wednesday's transfer deadline, as they feel they have enough cover at left-back.
Augsburg defender Kostas Stafylidis has joined on loan to provide competition and cover for first-choice left-back Erik Pieters, and Stoke feel Tymon would benefit by going out and playing on a regular basis.
Tymon has made three Premier League appearances for Stoke since joining them last summer from Hull City.
The 18-year-old started the Premier League games Chelsea at Stamford Bridge and Manchester United at Old Trafford and he has also started two games in the EFL Cup.
However, his opportunities are set to be limited in the second half of the campaign under new Stoke boss Paul Lambert, as he looks to steer his side away from trouble at the wrong end of the Premier League table.
New MK Dons boss Dan Micciche is keen to strengthen his squad before the close of the transfer window, with the side facing a battle to stay up in League One.
Micciche will be well aware of Tymon from his time working with England's youth sides, with the youngster having played for England all the way up from under-17s to under-20s.
