Luhukay has only made one signing since he arrived at Sheffield Wednesday earlier this month.

Jos Luhukay says Sheffield Wednesday have not made any progress on transfers since last week’s capture of Joey Pelupessy.
The Dutch midfielder became Luhukay’s first signing as Owls manager and is the only new player to arrive at Hillsborough this month.
Wednesday were without 11 first teamers for Saturday’s 0-0 draw against third-placed Cardiff City, but rather than rush for external help, Luhukay hopes to be able to improve his squad with returning players in the coming weeks.
Asked for an update on potential recruits, the 54-year-old told Sheffield Wednesday’s official Facebook page: “There’s nothing happened.
“Only last week we brought Joey Pelupessy. We have trust in our squad. When all the injured players come back in the next weeks, we have a strong team I think.
“I’m not a manager who says everyday we must have new players. I have trust in my squad, in my team, and we are working hard together and very intensive. So let’s see what will happen.”

Asked if he would like to add to the signing of Pelupessy this month, Luhukay suggested that he is not expecting to do a lot of business: “You know that 31st January is when the transfer window closes, so until that time you never know what happen, but much [business] we are not doing.
“We have the team now together and of course when the injured players come back – and we have good players who aren’t playing – they’ll make the team stronger.”
The former Hertha Berlin boss hopes to have Barry Bannan, Tom Lees and Joost van Aken available for selection in the coming weeks.
Bannan and Lees were spotted doing running work at Wednesday’s Middlewood Road training ground earlier this week.
