Crystal Palace have already completed two signings this month.

The Daily Mirror have claimed in their transfer new blog (Wednesday, 10:44am) that Crystal Palace are one of three Premier League sides interested in signing Norwich City midfielder Ben Godfrey.
Godfrey, 20, has been a mainstay of the Shrewsbury starting line-up this season, featuring in 24 of their 27 Championship fixtures this season and making a name for himself in the holding midfield role in front of his loan side’s defence.

The former York City trainee remains with the League One side until the end of the season, but his form is already attracting interest from three Premier League clubs after he starred against West Ham in the FA Cup this month.
He featured for all 90 minutes of the 0-0 draw at the New Meadow before coming within inches of a penalty shootout at the London Stadium, only for Reece Burke to score deep into extra time to earn a 1-0 win.

Roy Hodgson’s Palace are said to have watched Godfrey in the blue and yellow of Shrewsbury, but has been joined by Brighton and Burnley in monitoring the midfielder as he continues to help the Shrews push towards promotion.
It remains to be seen if either of the three Premier League clubs will look to convince Norwich to cancel his loan and sell him permanently this month, or wait until the summer to land Godfrey. His contract at Carrow Road lasts until 2021.
