Everton are reportedly interested in landing Besiktas defender Dusko Tosic.

Turkish outlet Fotomac claim Everton are eyeing a second raid on SuperLig champions Besiktas for defender Dusko Tosic, but Premier League rivals Leicester City could have the upper hand.
The experienced 33-year-old has shone for the Turkish giants during the 2017-18 season so far and it has alerted both Everton and Leicester, who are looking to add the left-footer defender this month.
However, the Foxes are said to be in pole position as striker Islam Slimani is wanted in Turkey, and that could see Claude Puel’s side do business with Besiktas by coming to an arrangement that would see both players swap clubs.

Everton are desperately in need of a left-back, with Tosic more renowned for his role at the heart of the defence. However, he has plenty of experience on the left side of defence.
Ramiro Funes Mori is still sidelined with a knee injury while Phil Jagielka is edging towards the end of his career. Ashley Williams, Mason Holgate and new signing Michael Keane have all been criticised throughout the campaign.

Sam Allardyce could look to add powerhouse Tosic, who is renowned for his passionate displays and combative nature alongside Pepe in the Besiktas defence.
He has starred in the Champions League during Besiktas’ qualification into the knockout round, and even scored three goals this season from defence. He has 18 months remaining on his current deal.
