Aleksandar Dragovic is on loan at Leicester City from Bayer Leverkusen until the end of the season.

Leicester City manager Claude Puel has told the Leicester Mercury that no decision will be made on the future of Aleksandar Dragovic until the end of the season.
The 26-year-old defender, who is on loan at the King Power Stadium from Bayer Leverkusen, is finally getting the chance to stake his claim for a permanent transfer.
After waiting until December to make his Premier League debut, the Austrian has featured in Leicester’s last four matches in which they have not conceded a single goal.

While Dragovic seems like a ready-made successor for captain Wes Morgan, who is out injured and turns 34 this weekend, Puel wants to give himself until the summer until making that call.
“We will see,” Puel is quoted by the Leicester Mercury as saying. “At the moment he is on loan, we will see at the end of the season if he stays with us or not.
“It is important for him and all the players to continue his hard work in training and in games, and show their quality.

“It is competition between players because we have a good squad and we will see at the end.”
The Foxes would be wise to keep hold of Dragovic, whose pedigree of 60 international caps, and Champions League experience at three different clubs would usually come at a significant cost.
However, with Leverkusen seemingly having no need for him, Leicester may be able to get him on the cheap and build around a classy defensive pairing of Dragovic and Harry Maguire.
