Could Everton's signing of Theo Walcott push Ademola Lookman towards the Goodison Park exit door? Some Tottenham Hotspur fans certainly hope so.
Walcott left Tottenham's rivals Arsenal in a £20 million on Wednesday and brings yet more competition to a position that Lookman is already struggling to make his own - a year since his own move from London to Merseyside.
The former Charlton Athletic player has only made five starts for Everton this season, none of which have come under new boss Sam Allardyce.
That's despite a number of promising cameos, including in Everton's second to last fixture, against Liverpool in the FA Cup.
Nevertheless, Lookman was left rooted to the substitutes' bench when the Toffees travelled to Tottenham last weekend.
And several Spurs fans would be pleased to see their side - who were linked with a move for the teenager during his Charlton days - take him on.
Here's what they're saying on Twitter...
I would buy Lookman straight away, we wanted him when he was at Charlton. https://t.co/VIlVXR3PJg— Nad (@nad_THFC) 17 January 2018
We'll have Lookman at Spurs if he's off now, thanks— Tim Brown (@sockformation) 17 January 2018
Tottenham should throw a bid at Everton for Lookman.— HarryKaneTheBasedGod (@SpursEH) 17 January 2018
As a spurs fan I was delighted he wasn’t playing, wouldn’t mind Lookman at #thfc— fred (@EtonSpurs) January 13, 2018
How can Lookman still not get in this Everton team? We'll have him at Spurs and turn him in to a proper player— Matt Bates (@mbatesy88) January 13, 2018
Could Lookman be available after Walcott's arrival? And should Spurs move?
