Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Serge Aurier against Everton.
Aurier featured for Tottenham in the Premier League game against Everton at the Wembley Stadium in London on Saturday evening.
The Ivory Coast international defender started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, as Mauricio Pochettino’s side won 4-0.
While Spurs fans were impressed with the performance of the 25-year-old right-back, many suggested that he needs to be better with his crosses and compared that particular trait to that of Kieran Trippier.
Took a while to get going but we've been brilliant today. If Aurier took some crossing lessons from Trippier we could have had about 6 or 7. #COYS— Graham Marshall (@GrahamMarshall_) January 13, 2018

If Aurier had the delivery that Trippier has... he’d still be at PSG #COYS— Joel Tofton (@JoelTofton) January 13, 2018
Or, he can just turn his bad shots into good crosses!— Glenn Ebrey (@glennebrey) January 13, 2018
As for the rest of the team, good performance on the whole. Special mentions to Aurier, Vertonghen and Dembele who was absolutely emphatic. It's unfair when you've got peak Dembele to deal with. #THFC #COYS— Spurceptive Insight (@Spurceptive) January 13, 2018
Aurier joined Tottenham from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2017 for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £23 million.
The 25-year-old is a very good defender who is getting better and better with each passing game.
The win against Everton has enhanced Tottenham’s chances of finishing in the top four of the Premier League this season.
