Wolverhampton Wanderers goalkeeper Jack Ruddy has been linked with Ayr United in the January transfer window.

Wolverhampton Wanderers goalkeeper Jack Ruddy is set to join Ayr United in Scotland in the January transfer window, according to The Daily Record (Transfer live blog, 17:43, Thursday, January 11, 2018).

It has been reported that Ruddy had agreed a loan deal with the Scottish League One club and could make his debut this weekend.

According to the report, the 20-year-old goalkeeper is awaiting international clearance ahead of the League One game against Raith Rovers on Saturday.

Ruddy is a very talented and promising young goalkeeper who has been on the books of Wolves since the summer of 2016 when he joined from Bury.
