HITC Sport understands Derby target Norwich striker.

Derby County have made a bid for Norwich City striker Nelson Oliveira, HITC Sport understands.
Promotion-chasing Derby are understood to have tabled an £8million bid for Oliveira as they look to tempt Norwich to cash-in on the forward.
Rams boss Gary Rowett is looking to bring in a new striker during this month’s transfer window to boost his side’s chances of winning promotion to the Premier League and he has targeted a move for Oliveira.
Oliveira’s future at Norwich has been the subject of speculation since last summer after Reading and Swansea City saw moves for him fall through.

The Portugal international has struggled to hold down a regular place in Daniel Farke’s starting XI this season, but he has still managed to score seven goals in 14 starts for the Canaries.
Oliveira joined Norwich City in the summer of 2016 from Benfica after impressing on loan at Nottingham Forest the previous season and he scored 15 goals in 32 games in all competitions in his debut season at Carrow Road.
Norwich are understood to be willing to listen to offers for Oliveira as Farke looks to rebuild the squad at Carrow Road and they could use the funds from any sale on strengthening the squad elsewhere.
