City are at the top of the league table at the moment with 62 points from 22 matches, as many as 15 points ahead of second-placed and city-rivals Manchester United.
Spurs, who have finished in the top four for the past two seasons, are currently fifth in the standings with 41 points from 22 matches, three points behind fourth-placed Liverpool and two ahead of sixth-placed and bitter North London rivals Arsenal.
Tottenham striker Kane believes that Pep Guardiola’s City will win the Premier League title this season.
The 24-year-old England international striker has also admitted that Spurs cannot match City financially.
While the North London outfit operate on a strict budget, City have signed top-quality players for a lot of money in recent years, such as Raheem Sterling, Kyle Walker and Kevin De Bruyne.
The Mirror quotes Kane as saying: “I think we’ve got a fantastic squad here at Spurs but I don’t think we’re going to be able to have the same squad as Manchester City and teams like that because they obviously spend a lot more money than we do.”
Kane added: “I think they’re going to win the league this season, but they spent a similar amount last year and didn’t win it. And the year before Leicester won it. So money doesn’t automatically bring you the title.”
