Roy Hodgson must bring in at least one more striker this month, and whilst a number of forwards have been linked already, it seems that Palace are moving for one Premier League attacker.
Sky Sports report that Palace have opened talks with West Ham over a deal for Diafra Sakho, and the report even suggests that Sakho had a medical at Selhurst Park today.
Sakho, 28, joined West Ham from Metz back in the summer of 2014, and starred in his first season with the club, scoring 12 goals in 26 appearances in all competitions.
The Senegal international has failed to hit the same heights since, as he has scored 12 goals in his last 45 games, and he hasn't even started a single Premier League game this season.
With two goals in 14 substitute appearances, Sakho has been a frustrated figure at the London Stadium this season, and he could finally be on his way out of the club.
A move across London to join Palace could be on the cards, and West Ham may well be looking to land a fee in the region of £12million to £15million for their bit-part striker.
