West Ham United fans appear to be excited over the possibility of signing Leander Dendoncker.
The Belgian international has impressed since breaking into Anderlecht’s team as a youngster, and now looks ready for a move to the Premier League.
And West Ham fans are hoping that the 22-year-old does move to the London Stadium in the coming weeks.
Would love to see Dendoncker at West Ham. Not just because he is a good player, but his name is absolutely tremendous. https://t.co/IBwgdFGD0H— Sam Inkersole (@Sam_InkersoleTM) January 8, 2018
Now your talking he'd be a great signing.— William Field (@wilfield71) January 8, 2018

Dendoncker looks like a good player, can score goals and create plays. Just what we need. Offload Kouyate #whufc— Jamie (@jamiewhusteele) January 8, 2018
Het Belang: West Ham are showing serious interest in Anderlecht’s Leander Dendoncker (22).— Scouted Football (@ScoutedFtbl) January 8, 2018
Considering The Hammers sometimes have to use Noble as their CDM, Dendoncker would be a massive upgrade. Defensive versatility would also come in handy for Moyes too. pic.twitter.com/LfFLDVVL7X
this would be massive, already taken from Anderlecht before with Kouyate so could help tempt him over. Hope the rumours/interest is genuine.— Max Baldwin (@maxbaldwin16) January 8, 2018
If Dendoncker was to arrive at West Ham he would considerably improve David Moyes’ midfield options.
West Ham’s Cheikhou Kouyate has endured a terrible season so far, while doubts remain from some supporters over Mark Noble’s quality.
The Hammers are yet to make a signing in the January window, but Dendoncker’s arrival would be a signal of their ambition.
West Ham are currently in 15th place in the Premier League table, and are still fighting to retain their top flight status.
