HITC Sport understands Wolves are to loan out duo to former manager Kenny Jackett at Portsmouth
Connor Ronan in action against Wigan
Ronan and Deslandes have found first-team opportunities limited at Wolves this season with the club riding high at the top of the Championship table.
Midfielder Ronan broke into the Wolves side last season under Paul Lambert, but saw his progress cut short in the final two months of the campaign with a back injury.
Sylvain Deslandes in action for Wolves against Middlesbrough
The Republic of Ireland international has made just three substitute appearances in the Championship this season, as he has been unable to break into Nuno Espirito Santo high-flying starting XI.
French left-back Deslandes has also found himself on the fringes of the first-team picture at Molineux, making just one appearance off the bench in the Championship, and that was way back in September in the win at Nottingham Forest.
Wolves boss Nuno is happy to loan out Ronan and Deslandes as they are unlikely to force their way into his plans for the second half of the campaign, with more new faces expected to join the first-team squad at Molineux during this month's transfer window.
A number of clubs have expressed an interest in taking Deslandes and Ronan on loan, but Portsmouth have won the race for their signature.
Portsmouth boss Kenny Jackett knows the duo well, having worked with them both during his time in charge at Molineux, and he actually signed Ronan from Rochdale in 2014 and Deslandes from French club Caen in 2015.
