Tottenham Hotspur fans are intrigued by the prospect of signing Brazilian starlet Malcom.
Malcom is enjoying an excellent breakthrough season in Ligue 1 and has netted seven goals in 18 top-flight games for the French side, also racking up four assists.
His star is certainly rising and Spurs supporters are enthused about the idea of seeing him in North London.
I’d take a gamble on this Malcom kid but I’d much prefer Neres or Kluivert #THFC— NorthLondonIsWhite (@PochsLilywhites) December 30, 2017
If he's anything like he is on Football Manager, get him signed up!— Matt Carter (@Spliffzilla) December 30, 2017
Maybe he isn't AS good but definitly a very good player— Crescendo (@PtitperePoiroux) December 30, 2017

Won’t lie and say I know much about Malcom. Hearing good things, but with our luck and French league wingers... safe to say I’m not sold. #COYS— Zach (@TheTHFC) December 30, 2017
Looks like a player who just uses his left foot. And for the reported £30 million, we might as well go for Zaha! #COYS— Harry Hotspur (@HarryHotspurWHL) December 30, 2017
Lilywhites boss Mauricio Pochettino could use a top-drawer wide option.
Erik Lamela has recently returned after 12 months on the sidelines with injury, but even at his best, the Argentine is not the all-action winger that his Brazilian counterpart is and he might well be a fantastic signing for the North Londoners.
Best of all, Malcom would be eligible to play in Tottenham's last-16 Champions League clash with Juventus in the new year, given Bordeaux's absence from European competition this season.
