The Tottenham Hotspur star has been in sizzling form for club and country this year.
Spurs ace Harry Kane spoke to reporters after finishing the year as Europe's most prolific goalscorer, and admitted that the 'one season wonder' comments from the 2014/15 season still spur him on today, as quoted by popular football news website Football.London.
The 24-year-old scored 31 goals in 51 appearances for Tottenham during the 2014/15 season, but few would have predicted his rise to prominence within the game.
He has now racked up a superb tally of 123 goals in 189 outings for the Lilywhites, and has firmly established himself as one of the continent's most feared strikers.

Kane spoke to reporters, having finished the calendar year with 56 goals to his name - a tally that saw him finish ahead of the likes of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo in the standings, and admitted that reservations about his quality earlier on in his career have contributed to him becoming the player he is today, as quoted by Football.London:
"Does that still spur me on? Probably, it's always in the back of my mind. I've always said that when people doubt me I want to prove them wrong whether it's at a young age or now, that's just my mindset, something in me since a young age."
Next up for Kane and co is a trip to Swansea City on January 2nd, and it would take a brave man to bet against the England international picking up from where he left off against Southampton on Boxing Day.
