Tottenham face a tough trip to Turf Moor to face Burnley on Saturday evening.
Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino may opt to freshen things up in his Spurs starting eleven after the north Londoners were battered 4-1 by Manchester City last time out - and fans want their manager to start Erik Lamela.
Spurs face a difficult away trip to Sean Dyche's high-flying Burnley on Saturday evening, as they look to strengthen their top-four hopes at the expense of their Lancashire-based opponents.
However, the Clarets are difficult to beat on home soil and Pochettino will have to field a side capable of producing something out of nothing in the final third, but also resolute at the back.
Lamela, 25, is the fans' choice to start the match as he continues to look sharp since his year-long spell on the sidelines with a double hip injury. He has returned to make five Premier League matches, but has started just one of those.
With Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen's level of form remarkably dropping as Spurs sit 21 points behind league leaders Man City, Pochettino should shake things up in attack and start the man brought to Spurs by former boss Andre Villas-Boas in 2013.
That should see 23-time Argentina international Lamela start from the off for just the second time this season, as one fan described his "ability to beat men in one-on-one situations" as "key".
Lamela's ability to beat men in one-on-one situations and produce a killer pass could be key at Burnley. He should start over Dele Alli... https://t.co/c1KrbcNbhO— George Sessions (@GeorgeSessions) December 19, 2017

Time to cast away the gloom of the weekend and charge hard into the Holiday fixtures. No time to pout about one game. We can still achieve great things. Vic and Sanchez are back & Lamela is ready to start. #COYS #THFC— Aaron Pitters (@aaronpitters) December 20, 2017
Would be nice seeing Llorente & Lamela start & Eriksen benched.— LWOS_Edwin (@Edwin_Mills) December 21, 2017

Lamela in for Alli tomorrow surely. Lamela will be far more useful against their deep block. Alli will likely get marked out of the game if he starts. Lamela behind Son and Kane should be a difficult one for Burnley to handle.— Dan Grimes (@DanGrimes__) December 21, 2017
