Craig Burley backs Danny Ings to quit Liverpool for West Bromwich Albion.

Craig Burley has told ESPN that he believes goal-shy West Bromwich Albion will sign Liverpool striker Danny Ings in January, either on loan or on a permanent transfer.
West Brom’s new boss Alan Pardew desperately needs a prolific striker in January after the Baggies failed to score in any of his first three games in charge.
The 25-year-old hitman missed most of his first two seasons at Liverpool due to injury but he is fit again for the moment and earned a nine-minute cameo in the derby against Everton last weekend.

Nevertheless, Ings, signed by Brendan Rodgers, isn’t expected to have much of a long-term future on Merseyside under Jurgen Klopp.
The Guardian reported earlier this month that an array of Premier League sides were chasing his signature – including West Ham and Newcastle United – but Burley believes that the Hawthorns is an obvious destination.

He told ESPN when asked if he’ll join West Brom: “I think he could go there, either on a transfer or a loan. Huge injury problems for this lad and isn’t going to get a game and West Brom can’t buy a goal.
“They just can’t score. I think that could be a loan, but I could see it happening.”
