Celtic fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to Rangers’ defeat to St Johnstone at Ibrox.
Rangers suffered a disappointing 3-1 defeat to St Johnstone at home in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday afternoon.
The Gers actually took the lead through Alfredo Morelos in the fifth minute, and it looked like they were going to make it five wins in a row in the Scottish Premiership.
However, Grame Murty’s side lost 3-1, with the visiting team launching a stirring comeback after going a goal down.
Blair Alston, Denny Johnstone and Graham Cummins scored the goals for the visiting team, who deservedly picked up all three points from the encounter.
The defeat to Rangers means that Celtic can further extend their lead over their Old Firm rivals on Sunday afternoon when they take on Heart of Midlothian away from home in the Scottish Premiership.
Celtic fans have mocked Rangers for losing to St Johnstone at Ibrox in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday.

To get the points required to be top by New Year Rangers will now have to use the word 'concomitant' in a game of Scrabble.— Celtic Wiki (@TheCelticWiki) December 16, 2017
Celtic will absolutely rattle this Rangers team no questions asked. A sobering for the delusional.— Brendan 12-15-6 (@brendwings) December 16, 2017

Rangers fans ought to shut their mouths man, aw "we can catch Celtic and win the league " .. no we can't, we don't have an answer to teams who sit back against us! Which is 7/8 out of 12 teams in the league! We'll be lucky to finish 2nd— JamieBurrell (@jamieburrell1) December 16, 2017

Is that ‘the Rangers’ were challenging for the title . . . .
Back under your rocks you go!!!!
If Rangers has beaten Hamilton, Dundee and St Johnstone they would be 4 points ahead of Celtic. Frightening when you think of it like that.— Chris Crilley (@TT_Ted) December 16, 2017
Rangers losing to St.Johnstone leaves them third. Celtic could go 15pts clear on New Year’s Eve if things go there way. Back down to reality with a bump. Their luck ran out.— D I Š T E F A N O (@MrStefanCarlin) December 16, 2017
If Celtic don't put at least 5 past Rangers I expect the board to spend at least £30m sending out letters of apology to fans worldwide.— David Carson (@carson_david) December 16, 2017
If only Rangers could of beaten Hamilton, Dundee and St Johnstone, they would only be a point behind Celtic— Neil1888 (@Menstriebhoy) December 16, 2017
