West Ham United cannot recall Aston Villa winger Robert Snodgrass, due to terms of the loan deal.

Snodgrass has joined Villa on loan from West Ham United for the season, and the winger has impressed so far.
With West Ham struggling and changing managers, there may have been a question mark over whether Snodgrass could have returned to the London Stadium.
However, Bruce insists that West Ham have no right of recall in the deal, even if they wanted him back.
“No,” Bruce said, when asked if Snodgrass could leave Villa in January.

Bruce also suggested that he did not have to think twice about taking Snodgrass, when he became available in the summer.
“He was a no brainer for us,” the claret and blues boss added.
“He’s not just hit the ground running, he is popular in the dressing room.
“He’s likeable, he’s a good lad to have around. He is never dull. He is always bright and breezy.”

Snodgrass has already established himself as a key player in Villa’s starting line-up.
The 30-year-old has contributed three goals and four assists in 16 Championship matches this term.
Snodgrass looks likely to start in Villa’s next match, which comes at the weekend against Derby County at Pride Park.
